Open Mic

Small open mic events are a great way to get a taste of reading in front of a group, try out new material, and meet new friends.

The SF Peninsula branch of CWC hosts an open mic from 7:00-8:30 pm Pacific Time on the fourth Tuesday of each month. You don’t have to read, but everyone is welcome to share their poetry, fiction, or nonfiction.

There’s no critique, just a warm reception for all participants.

Depending on the number of readers, each will have five to eight minutes to read. Join us!

While this event is open to the public, host Vanessa MacLaren-Wray strives to prevent internet trollers from joining. You must pre-register in order to receive your secure link to the meeting.
