Author Day an Amazing Experience

Our first ever Author Day 2024, created by our VP Eva Barrows, was a huge hit and our largest attended meeting ever with 64 noisy, excited participants networking! We had an opportunity to meet other writers in our genre, published and yet to be published, and gained information that was practical and actionable. We also generated much interest in our newly founded critique groups. Hope to have our second Author Day in 2025!

Wrote new member Bill Strobridge, “Great meeting on Saturday. Very well organized. Met a lot of folks, kind and supportive. Very welcoming and insightful. I've been in the club for, what? A month? I've already gotten a lot of good tips and valuable information.”

Tice Swackhamer proclaimed “Author Day … a great success. I mostly enjoyed the chance to get to know what others are working on and how we can help support each other. Plus, I won a beautiful book of poetry by Reena Kapoor! Bravo to all the authors."

“Author Day felt like being home. It was a chance to be amongst writers in your genre and receive valuable feedback. Also, the caliber of books for sale was impressive,” added Lawrence Cohn.

Eva Barrows organized and facilitated the event.

Sharing, listening, networking.
